It is less than six months to go to kickoff in the first matches of the 2010 World Cup soccer tournament in South Africa. Between the first game on June 11 and the final exactly a month later, a total of 64 thrilling games will be played between 32 of the world’s best national teams.
The World Cup month may not be the perfect time to visit South Africa, as many hotels and resorts are already fully booked by fans from around the world. Still, for the football fans among Laguna Holiday Club members, it may be interesting to explore the towns and cities where matches will take place, before or after the World Cup.
And then, of course, there is the country itself – the Rainbow Nation – with its stunning scenery and the spectacle of its wildlife, like nothing you can see anywhere else in the world.
It is also a country rich in culture and heritage, sports and adventure, entertainment and leisure – and great food.
Laguna Holiday Club members can get accommodations all over South Africa through our exchange partner, RCI
